At Arukah Works, we believe in the power of restoration through business.

‘Arukah’ means restoration in the Hebrew language.

'Works' refers to the labor of our hands, in whatever capacity.

Together, our name means 'restorative works', or 'works of restoration' as that's what we believe businesses should be.

The businesses we build and operate should be instruments that restore the world to its intended state.

In a world where Christian entrepreneurs and business operators are challenged in integrating faith and business, Arukah Works offers methodologies and tools that are designed to build businesses that achieve redemptive outcomes.

Vision

To see Christian entrepreneurs and business owners play an active role in restoring Gospel influence to the marketplace.

Mission

To equip Christian entrepreneurs with the tools, guidance, and community, to build holistically redemptive ventures.

“So we rebuilt the wall…, for the people worked with all their heart.”

– Nehemiah 4:6

Arukah
Collective

Redemptive entrepreneurship is not walked alone and neither do we at Arukah Works.

The Arukah Collective is a group of seasoned professionals who believe in the influential power of redemptive entrepreneurship. Each member of the Collective specializes in an area of the Redemptive Business Canvas™, having spent their careers in thought, development, and practice in their respective domain.

The Collective is a growing group as we’re always on the lookout for like-minded individuals to collaborate with.

Hannah Lau
Founder & Canvas Co-Creator

Hannah’s career began in advertising when she moved to Asia as a marketplace missionary. She spent 15 years overseas, during which she eventually left the corporate world and founded Astera Asia in 2015. A redemptive business in nature, Astera has worked with over 350+ businesses and organizations, both faith-based and not, across sectors, cultures, and countries.

It is through the diverse portfolio of Astera Asia that the Redemptive Business Canvas™ framework emerged and Arukah Works was founded. The methodology and tool are not theoretical, but born out of real life cases, practical application, and an observed need in the landscape. Arukah Works is the culmination of the journey, codifying the learnings, so that others can have a stronger starting point.

Hannah is passionate about living out her faith through entrepreneurship and hopes to help others do the same.
